Gunmen kidnap woman at Nkpolu Junction

There was pandemonium around Nkpolu junction in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, when gunmen shot sporadically before whisking away a woman identified as Mrs Anthonia.

A source said the gunmen upon sighting their target, had reportedly used their vehicle to block the road, before shots were fired at her car tyres. They dragged her out of the car and whisked her away in their own car, leaving two other people who were in the victim’s car fear struck.

An eyewitness narrated that the husband of the victim, who was contacted, later arrived at the scene. Africa Update was however unable to confirm the motive behind the kidnap.
