Gunmen have kidnaped the wife of a prominent Rivers politician and Kalabari Royalty, Chief Aroloye Brown, Africa Update has gathered. Mrs. Soye Brown was kidnapped on February 3rd, at her shop along Aker/Saipem Road in Rumuolumeni Community, Obio Akpor Local Government Area.
A family source said she was whisked away between 7pm and 8pm last night. Her distraught husband, Chief Brown has called on friends and family to pray for God’s intervention and her safe release from her captures.

Africa Update was reliably informed that she was kidnapped at the same place in August 2010 a year after her mother in law was kidnapped. It is however unclear the motive behind the kidnap.
