Chidiebere Onyia, a reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Port Harcourt zonal office, was reportedly kidnapped by her abductors at gunpoint onTuesday night along the railway line, at Woji community in Obio/ Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on her way home after work.
Journalists and relatives have intensified calls for the urgent release of Onyia, who is a nursing mother.
