Four notorious kidnappers terrorising  Ubima and Omerelu communities in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State have been killed during a raid by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the state police  Command .
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a statement issued to journalists yesterday.
He stated that  some members of the gang responsible for terrorising travelers on the highway, were arrested and gave their names as Richard Chukwu, Goodluck Richard, Ikechukwu Richard alias Military man, Omereji James alias Tompolo and Stephen Omereji,  while several weapons and ammunitions were recovered during the raid.
Omoni further said that the operation which was a huge success,  led to the rescue of the following hostages  Okwananaso Anya Johnson, Christian Azuzu, Ejezie Chinedu and prophetess Ngozi.
