More details have emerged on the gruesome murder of the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Scientific Equipment Development Initiative, SEDI, Enugu State, Prof. Simon Ndubuisi, who was reportedly assassinated in Enugu State.
The Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, whose mandate was research and development of transformers, digital electricity meters, solar powered source of energy towards the growth and development of the nation, was shot dead yesterday along the Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway.
His Toyota Prado vehicle was riddled with bullets by the unknown gunmen along the Enugu Port-Harcourt Expressway, and his police orderly was also killed in the attack. Confirming the attack, spokesperson of the Enugu state police command, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, said the incident occurred at about 4 p:m.
