MOSOP Chapter Leaders have called on all well meaning people of Ogoni, within and outside the State, to help end factionalizaton in MOSOP Leadership .
The MOSOP chapter leaders said their decision to file a case of originating surmon in the Court against the three factions of MOSOP is to ensure a proper interpretation of MOSOP’s Constitution .
The Chapter Leaders in a release signed by Comrade Bakor Bob Maxwell and Pastor Obidia Bah said the Court summom was prompted due to the emergence of factions in MOSOP and the alleged refusal of former President Legbosi Pyagbara to setup an electoral Committee leading to the emergence of two more factions lead by Fegalo Nsuge and Bariaara Kpalap .
It further clarified that setting up of MOSOP transitional Committee was fraudulent and unconstitutional , calling on Ogonis all over the world, to join hands with the Chapter Leaders , the only remnants of MOSOP to engender peace and unity in the Organization.
Meanwhile , judgement on the originating summon instituted by MOSOP Chapter Leaders against the three factions of MOSOP , demands for the setting up of an electoral Committee and non recognition of the factions and proper interpretation of MOSOP Constitution amongst others would be heard on Thursday in Port Harcourt High Court .
