The current saviour on everyone’s mouth.Agriculture as it is being practised cannot and will never save our country rather it will take us back to the 50’s and 60’s.Whatever we do now will be at subsistence level because of the perishable nature of produce.
The practice of agriculture requires proper planning about better yield crops,storage and processing for us to be dependent on this sector
In this century we still cannot process meat beyond our local abbattoir, we cannot put our processed meat in cans!!!
We spent so much bringing stock fish from scandinavian countries, canned fish from Morroco.
Our textile industry is dead and cannot absorb cotton
Ghana is now exporting processed banga to Nigeria, aren’t we ashamed ? we are so brain lazy that research and development does not exist in our dictionary
With the right atmosphere there is ingenuity in agriculture but not at subsistence level. Imagine the quantity of match sticks or toothpicks we can produce from a tree rather than using them as firewood
i am not APC or PDP but i desire the best for Nigeria
