The sad news about the sudden demise of a former lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Martins Mannah just broke.
While the cause of death is unknown at the time of this report, Mannah, represented Ahoada West Constituency 1, at the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2015 but lost his reelection in 2019 when he decamped to the All Progressives Congress and became the party’s candidate for that constituency. Africa Update had published a story this month about his call on Engr Twin Jackrich the founder of Belema Oil Producing Limited, to contest for governorship of the state in 2023.
