COVID-19: Union Bank shuts down operations

Union Bank of Nigeria has directed its staff to work from home over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Announcing the shut down of its daily operations in the country, in a statement issued on Sunday, the bank directed its staff to comply with the directive starting from Monday, in a bid to tackle the scourge.

The bank also gave safety tips that would help its staff while they worked from home.

“Starting from Monday, March 23rd, Union Bank is activating remote work for all its employees except critical functions in our operations and service teams.
