Eatery owner poisons customers

Several people are now feared dead, as a result of an alleged case of food poisoning. The incident, according to our source, occurred at a popular eatery at ogoja, Cross Rivers State.

The suspect, identified as Paul Arbor, had allegedly masterminded the food poisoning that led to the death of a couple, who were identified as the food vendors, and the hospitalization of 46 others.

Africa update gathered that 41 victims were rushed to the General Hospital Ogoja, while three others were taken to a private hospital.

It was further revealed  that the victims  exhibited symptoms such as  vomiting, foaming in the mouth, body weakness and spitting of blood.

At the time of this report, the victims have been discharged from the hospital, while investigation is on going to unravel the motive behind the action.
