UNIPORT VC Prof Georgewill admonishes University community

The Vice Chancellor of University of Port Harcourt,  Prof Owunari Georgewill,  has urged the Council, Staff, strategic partners and stakeholders of the Institution to reflect on the crucial role they play in building a better Nigeria as they celebrate the Christmas season, Africa Update reports.

“We must remain steadfast in nurturing the minds and talents that will forge the new Nigeria we all yearn for—one characterized by justice, equality, and prosperity for all,” he said.

The full text of his Christmas message: CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM PROF. OWUNARI A. GEORGEWILL, VICE-CHANCELLOR, UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT TO THE COUNCIL, ALL STAFF, STUDENTS, STRATEGIC PARTNERS, ALUMNI AND STAKEHOLDERS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT

Christmas is here again; a time to felicitate with our esteemed Council, members of staff, exceptional students, great alumni, and dependable stakeholders/strategic partners

In the spirit of Christmas, the University Management hereby expresses our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication and perseverance throughout the year.

Let this season remind us of the critical role we play in building a better Nigeria. We must remain steadfast in nurturing the minds and talents that will forge the new Nigeria we all yearn for—one characterized by justice, equality, and prosperity for all.

May this Christmas inspire us to break barriers of ethnicity and religious intolerance, embracing the shared humanity that binds us all.

Unique Uniport, our home, must lead the change in showing that unity in diversity is possible.

To our esteemed stakeholders/strategic partners—government partners, corporate entities, alumni, and friends of the University—your unwavering support has been instrumental in sustaining our mission.
