The Senate has declared the seat of Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, vacant.
The red chamber made the declaration on Wednesday and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a bye-election to fill the vacancy.
The seat of Okpebholo, who represented Edo Central Senatorial District, became vacant following his election and inauguration as Governor in November.
