Police installs tracking device in Lagos, Rivers

The Inspector General of Police,  Ibrahim Idris has announced the procurement and installation of tracking devices  as a means of combating kidnap activities in Lagos and Rivers States.

He revealed that the installation of the machines in both states will tackle the menace of kidnap activities in these states and reduce the pressure on the police Headquarters in Abuja.

He said the tracking machine in Rivers State will handle cases in the South south and South East, while that of Lagos State will handle South West. Stressing that these devices will enhance the activities of the Anti Kidnap unit.
