A socio political group, the Mobilizers, says the future of Rivers youths will be brighter when the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Siminalayi Fubara, becomes the next Chief Executive of the State.
In an exclusive chat with Africa Update, Secretary General of the Group, Hon. Dressman Sunday Godspower, said Fubara’s antecedents have distinguished him from other Governorship Candidates jostling for the number one position in the state.
Fubara, according to him will build on the laudable programs of the Nyesom Wike led administration, to ensure that the socio-economic sector receive a boost, which will create employment opportunities for youths in the state. This he stated, is due to the fact that being a seasoned technocrat, Fubara has first hand knowledge of what it takes.
He noted that when youths are positively engaged, issues around insecurity and violence will be eliminated from the Society, because an idle mind, they say, is a fertile ground to breed atrocities.
Godspower, further called on Rivers youths to utilize the power they posses through their PVC and urged them to come out in their numbers to vote for Fubara and other Candidates of the PDP, during the 2023 general elections.
