Riveira Livestock Cooperative visits Compassion Centre, distributes items to physically handicapped children (Pictures)

Members of Riveira Livestock Cooperative, a non governmental organization, paid a visit to the Compassion Center, a facility for physically handicapped children, situated along Nkpogu Road in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, the Rivers State capital, to felicitate with them as part of her annual “Giving Back to the society policy”.

Speaking during the presentation of household items, food stuffs, toiletries and several other items, on Saturday January 22, Secretary of the visitation Committee, Mr.Evans Ejinmah, expressed appreciation to God for the gift of life and blessings, that has made it possible for members to embark on the annual charity program.

The Matron in an emotion laden voice thanked the group for coming and prayed for the continuous growth of the NGO and her members.
In her words “it’s difficult to find young men involved in charity. Today you would have gone to play football or socialise, but here you are seriously involved in a noble course. May God replenish your pockets and bless you all.”
Members later went round to talk and play with the kids who also thanked them for the visit.
