Daredevil gunmen have kidnapped a young businesswoman identified as Christiana Bernard, at her home on Wednesday, around the NTA axis in Obio/Akpo Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Africa Update gathered that Bernard was driving into her compound on that fateful day when the gunmen, who had laid ambush, whisked her away.
A source disclosed that the gang smashed her car window after she refused to open the door to allow them access into her wine Honda Crosstour vehicle.
The source said the gunmen had reportedly entered her compound as she was driving in from the shop. They had pointed a gun at the security man and asked him to lie down before knocking on her car window but when she refused to wound down, they broke the glass, entered the car and took her away.
The vehicle was later found around the Air Force Road area in the State, while her whereabouts remains unknown, as nobody has contacted her family or friends for a ransom.
