Oyiborume calls on President Buhari to consider youths as replacement in Ministerial vacancies

… This would reinvigorate the cabinet and consolidate on his legacy performance strides.

The announcement of the unexpected ‘discharge from duty’ of two former serving ministers by President Muhammadu Buhari has indeed left a lacuna in the federal ministerial cabinet, despite the redeployment of other serving ministers to the Federal Ministries of Agriculture and Power which were affected by this move.

In a statement by the presidential spokesman and Special Assistant to the Presidency on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, the sack of Sabo Nanono (Ministry of Agriculture) and Saleh Mamman (Ministry of Power) was not necessarily due to low performance by the ministers or their ministries but the desire of President Buhari to “Reinvigorate” his administration and “Consolidate” on his legacy performance.

In furtherance of the legacy of the Presidency in involving the invaluable contributions of young people in the affairs of governance, Comrade Oyiborume Paul, a strong youth Leader /stakeholder of the APC, calls on the Presidency to urgently consider replacing all vacancies in his ministerial cabinet with young people instead. He makes this passionate appeal on the hopes that the youths of the country can better reinvigorate the gains and successes of this current administration in fulfilling on the mandate bestowed on the administration by Nigerians.

The Nigerian youths of today have proven themselves hardworking intellectuals, who are responsible and equal to the task of effectively manning the affairs of governmental administrative setups like the federal ministries. Nigeria will not be left out of the global move to infuse youthful vigour into the helms of National leadership. Comrade Oyiborume Paul highly recommends youth leaders such as the current National Youth Representative of the ruling party, in the person of Barr. Ismaeel Buba Ahmed and a host of many other politically oriented youth intellectuals who have proven themselves deserving both in the capacity to serve and the dexterity to handle any task and responsibility accorded them in position of governance.
