Pastor Essa Ogorry dies one week after birthday, one year after wife’s death

Pastor Essa Ogorry, Senior Pastor and founder of Fulfilling Word Foundation, off Peter Odili Road, in Rivers State is dead. The news of his death was shared by a Facebook user and member of his Church, Ferdinand Dokubo. According to his post, Ogorry died today. His post on Facebook reads: An Icon is gone again! Hmmmm Pst Essa Ogorry has gone home to be with the Lord. Rest on papa your offsprings will miss you sir. God! Recall that Ogorry’s wife Tonyemieba, died last year and a special memorial Thanksgiving service to mark the one year remembrance in her honour held on February 14, 2021.

There was also the news about his alleged refusal to wed a couple, identified as Mr and Mrs Roland Okpara, on February 6, because they had reportedly arrived five minutes late to the Church. This news attracted mixed reactions from several people. The true reason behind this story will remain a mystery following his death.
