Two year old burnt to death, properties destroyed in Cult clash at Abonnema Wharf

There was pandemonium at the Abonnema wharf axis of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, in Rivers State, when two rival cult groups, Iceland and Deygbam, engaged in a deadly clash. Africa Update gathered from eyewitnesses that the incident took place last night, over an argument.

Though details of the disagreement are unknown, members of one of the cult groups, allegedly set the house belonging to the mother of the leader of the rival cult group ablaze, when efforts to reach him failed. A woman who had left her two year old child at home to purchase items from the market, returned to find the carcass of her child who had been burnt to death. While a middle aged man was reportedly hit by a stray bullet, properties worth millions of naira were destroyed by the fire.
