The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has donated a life support Ambulance to assist the Rivers State Government in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
Presenting the Ambulance in Port Harcourt on April 11th 2020, Apostle Chinyere, assured the state government of his readiness to partner with the state to fight against “the satanic epidemic manufactured from the pit of hell to sweep the earth of its inhabitants.”
The General Overseer who runs a free specialist Hospital in Rivers State said the donation is made from the tithes and offerings from members of the Church.
Speaking on behalf of the Rivers State Government, the Commissioner of Health, Prof. Princewill Chike, expressed gratitude to OPM for the gesture and called on cooperate organizations and individuals to emulate the gesture to support the quest of the state government to eradicate COVID-19.
The health Commissioner said the disease has overwhelmed the medical profession as there is still no known cure available.
He urged citizens to comply with the directives and preventive measures reeled out by the state government, to guarantee a healthy society.
