Wike’s Government Is Investment Friendly – Rivers Lawmaker

The Rivers State House of Assembly says the listing of the state as the investment destination in the country by the National Investment Promotion Committee is due to the economic policies of Governor  Nyesom Wike.

The Chairman, Rivers State House of Assembly Committee on Commerce and Industry, Enemi George said this while speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt.

Enemi George explained that investors and business owners are investing heavily in the state due to the friendly atmosphere created by Gov. Nyesom Wike.

He said, ” The government through its policies and projects has re-energized the business ecosystem. This has made Rivers State very attractive for investors. That is why you are seeing an influx of investments and all sort of businesses back into Rivers State.

”Recently we saw the opening of the Next Mall. We’ve also seen the massive expansion of market square to market. We saw the opening of Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone Ice Cream in Rivers State.

” A lot more businesses are coming in. That is because we have a government that is focused on investing to ensure that businesses are successful in Rivers State”.

Enemi George who is the convener of the group, Rivers Professionals for Wike described comments by critics of Gov. Wike that businesses are relocating from Rivers State due to insecurity as false and misleading.
