The Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) has appealed to residents of the state against disposing their waste at unapproved places and outside the approved dumping time.
The sole administrator of RIWAMA, Felix Obuah explained that the approved dumping time is between 6 pm to 12 am daily.

Felix Obuah in a statement by his media aide, Jerry Needam warned that the sanitation task force has been mandated to arrest and prosecute defaulters of the order.
He also expressed satisfaction with the level of compliance of the 24 hour ultimatum to some service providers to get rid of waste in their respective zones.
