APC has defined what democracy should be in a fragile political system – The Mobilizers

An Advocacy group campaigning for credible and violence free election in Rivers State, The Mobilizers, says the peaceful conduct of Ward congresses by the All Progressives Congress, APC, on May 4, 2018,  has defined what democracy should be in a fragile political system.

A statement signed by the President of the Mobilizers, Miss Gloria Boma Harry, said prior to the conduct of the APC ward Congress, there were fears that the exercise would result in massive bloodbath, as speculated by members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

She lauded the leadership of the party for resisting attempts by mischief makers to instigate actions aimed at actualizing their premeditated plans.

Harry called on political parties to emulate the peaceful disposition of the APC and urged politicians to avoid situations that could result in the slaughter of innocent citizens in their quest for power.
