In a bid to reduce and possibly eliminate the impact of malaria on society, a non governmental organisation, Divine Health Foundation in collaboration with Rivers State University, is planning to organise the first ever, Health and Wellness event, tagged End Malaria World Festival.
At a media chat with online media practitioners in Rivers State, on March 19, 2018, the founder of Divine Health Foundation, Dr. Chijioke Mbelu, stated that the two day event billed to kick off on April 24th, would have exhibitions from scholars who have carried out successful and worthy research on Malaria, presentation on Malaria topics, presentation of awards, free malaria testing and Malaria panel, which would showcase feats or medical breakthroughs in malaria by pharmacists and other medical practitioners.
According to him, the event is scheduled to commence 8am daily and would hold at the convocation arena of Rivers State University.
He reiterated the need for all and sundry to participate in the event and urged individuals and corporate bodies to utilise the opportunities inherent in such festivals by booking their stands for exhibition and also partnership.
