Fire guts Lagos Airport Hotel, valuables destroyed

A surge in electrical installations at a section of the Banquet Hall around 5a.m, has reportedly caused a huge inferno at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja on Monday, destroying valuables worth ‎millions of naira.
It took the Combined efforts of the Lagos State Fire Service, LSFS, and Emergency Management Agency, (LSEMA), to prevent the fire from spreading to adjoining buildings‎.
It was further gathered that fire fighters from the Alausa station, put out the fire, at about 6a.m.
Nobody was injured in the inferno.
