RIVPA lauds Wike for appointing Okah as Information Commissioner

The Rivers State Independent Publishers Association,  RIVPA,  has reiterated the need for synergy between government and publishers in the state.

A press statement signed by the  chairman of RIVPA,  Gloria Boma Harry, commended the state governor,  Nyesom Wike,  for appointing a seasoned communicator,  Emma Okah, as the new commissioner of information and Communications , which will bridge the gap between information managers and ensure that the activities and policies of government are better understood.

Harry tasked Okah to transform the sector with his wealth of experience and expressed optimism of a revolution in the information sector.
