The family of two brothers, Ifeanyi and Emeka Wobo, who were recently murdered and their decapitated bodies found at Elekahia Housing Estate, in Obio/akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Tuesday are demanding for the heads of their kinsmen to enable them perform burial rituals.

Africa Update gathered from a close family source that the demand is in line with the custom of Rumuopkarali  community, which forbids anyone from burying a headless corpse.

You would recall that the two sons of one Late Chief Oliver Wobo , had taken a drop out of Rumuoparali on Monday, only for the police to discover their decapitated bodies on Tuesday morning.

Our source said “They left home on Monday evening while the police found Ifeanyi’s wallet which they used to trace the company where he acquired his pipeline welding skill. They obtained the phone number of his next of kin and called. Ifeanyi is a pipeline welder and his mother is still unconscious since the news broke on Tuesday evening.”
