Clash between local Farmers, Fulani herdsmen leaves one dead in Rivers state

One person is now feared dead in Oyigbo L.G.A in Rivers state following a fresh clash between local farmers and suspected Fulani herdsmen in that area.

Africa update reports that this is the second time within two weeks that the clash between local farmers and Fulani herdsmen leads to loss of lives.

The Chairman Caretaker Committee oyigbo L.G.A Gbali Chisom confirmed the incident; however he said normalcy has been restored following the intervention from security operatives.

The Chairman Caretaker Committee  has also called on security agencies to improve on the security of the place, following rumors that the Fulani herdsmen are planning a reprisal attack.
